From 16 to 18 September 2025, the 28th China International Composites Industry Technical Expo was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), and our company took part in the show.
Under the theme “Sustainable Development and Intelligent Manufacturing”, the expo aligned directly with our business focus on composites recycling and processing equipment.
At the show: industry trends and recycling directions
The China International Composites Expo (CCE) is organized by China Composites Group Co., Ltd. and held once a year. This edition brought together 852 exhibiting companies from around the world.
At the venue, leading companies such as China Jushi presented their products and technologies, and the expo also hosted the 9th “Carbon Fiber and Advanced Composites Innovation Application and Development” summit forum and a “Bio-based Composites Innovation Application” themed forum.
Our focus on this trip was on topics directly related to our equipment direction: wind turbine blade recycling, graded reuse of fiberglass waste, and high-value regeneration of carbon fiber.
During the show, Yue Zhen, our overseas sales manager, exchanged views with industry experts and technical representatives on recycling processes and equipment applications.
Customers who engaged with us during this edition came from 13 countries and regions.
Who we are
Founded in 2004, Zhanjiang Weida Machinery Industrial Co., Ltd. integrates development, design, manufacturing, sales and service, with composites crushing and milling equipment as one of its five product lines.
In the niche field of composites recycling and processing, we were among the earlier manufacturers to focus on recycling equipment — from carbon fiber milling machines (ZFS series) and fiberglass milling machines to GRP milling machines, handling materials from carbon fiber, fiberglass and GRP to basalt fiber and aramid fiber, with complete production lines configured to customer requirements.
The process adopts a low-temperature physical grinding route, with output fineness adjustable from 3 mm down to 400 mesh.
Final thoughts
The industry observations brought back from Shanghai have entered our product and process iteration plans.
For us, attending the Composites Expo is not a one-off trip but a standing arrangement to keep up with industry developments; we will keep deepening our work on composites recycling and processing equipment.
If you have equipment needs for composites recycling and processing, or would like to send materials for a trial grind, feel free to contact us.
