Zhanjiang Weida Machinery Industrial Co., Ltd. is located at No. 2 Hengye Road, Guandu Industrial Park, Potou District, Zhanjiang, Guangdong, founded in 2004 under the brand WEIJIN. The company develops, designs, manufactures, sells and services tropical crop processing machinery, mainly natural rubber processing equipment, reclaimed rubber crushing equipment and plant fiber extraction and spinning equipment.
Drawing on years of hands-on experience and steadily improved management and production processes, the company keeps advancing R&D in natural rubber processing machinery and cooperates with the Agricultural Machinery Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences.
Driven by customer needs, the company is committed to providing customized efficient solutions with quality service. Founder
Jack Lai comes from a rubber family; his father’s generation cultivated rubber in Malaysia and returned to China after liberation, pioneers of the rubber industry in the state farm system.
Jack Lai studied mechanical engineering and worked on the production frontline of the state farm system, dedicated to rubber machinery R&D from grassroots equipment improvements, building solid technical and practical expertise in tropical agricultural processing.
In response to China’s new industrialization and going-global drive, Jack Lai founded Weida Machinery in 2004, starting the journey of independent R&D and manufacturing of natural rubber and tropical economic fiber processing machinery.
Under his leadership, the single-screw breaker & washer was developed, integrating crushing, washing, kneading and cleaning — the core technical advantage of the lines. He systematically restructured traditional rubber processing, optimizing the three-stage granulation into a one-stage granulation process, driving cost reduction and efficiency gains.
Forward-looking global expansion began in 2009 via cross-border e-commerce; was among the earlier companies to propose the efficiency-customized integrated delivery approach, streamlined TSR line configurations, and provides deep technical enablement and on-site service through dedicated overseas engineer teams.
Facing the slow upgrade of traditional machinery, he led the team into automation, delivering robotic arms, auto packing/unloading systems and the self-developed TTR cleaning device, pushing the industry from traditional to automated machinery.
